Clickety - Click

My birthday is today!  TWENTY ONE TODAY! ( in 1976)

I was on teaching practice in December ‘76, in a cracking little primary school in Toxteth, Liverpool

That was then. I made my own velvet party frock in the lunch hour. My big brother travelled from London, he was at the RCA, working with Patrick Caulfield and Peter Blake, I still have the Art Prints,

I wasn’t as ugly as this though, ever … I think I was shocked and delighted to see him, I could never have enough of this man, loved and missed xxx

This is now

If all the world were paper

If all the world were paper

And all the sea were ink,

If all the trees were bread and cheese

What should we have to drink?

Father Steve Murray of Béal An Átha condemns as sacrilegious the abominable communion wafer. "This violation and injurious treatment of a sacred object..." he was quoted tonight as saying "...is a transgression against the virtue of the Catholic religion." he added that "It was in any case, clearly a Czechoslovakian waffle, and your friend is taking the michael telling you otherwise."

Who knows where the time goes.........

Roz and I were school friends, in 1967, we met up again at The Everyman recently, for the first time in 29 years. It was her first return to the city since her dad Henry Willis, musician and university lecturer, died. A great family, I named my daughter Miriam Rosamund, after Roz.
